Reptisun made by ZooMed is only made in 2.0 and 5.0 (Iguana Light is the same bulb marketed specifically towards ig owners by the same company)



I think many people get understandably confused by the naming schemes some of the companies have come up with to mislead consumers. I believe the ReptiGlo is the one making 2.0, 5.0, and 8.0 lights. There is also Reptasun (notice the similarity) made by Flukers and also ESU reptile makes some lights (can't remember the exact marketed name) that say 3% reptile and 7Þsert.



The important thing to remember is that that one 5.0 does not mean the same as another brands 5.0 so you should not use that to base your purpose. The ZooMed brand 5.0's are pretty much the defacto standard and what most people mean when they say Reptisun 5.0. It seems to consistently outperform all of the other tube UVB lights on the market in readings i've seen on tests. A ReptiGlo 8.0 won't put out as much UVB as a ReptiSun 5.0
