Posted by: weaser at Thu Feb 19 23:37:29 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by weaser ] I agree with the previous post, with rare exeptions, newts and salamanders do not tolerate temperatures above 70 degrees F. for long periods of time; this is why you'll find the majority of Caudates in the Northern Temperate/Semi-Temperate region.
