They are supposedly quite common and they are well documented by the scientific community. I first encountered their mention in Conant's Field Guide to Eastern Reptiles and Amphibians. Subsequent research dug up even more literature on them. I have also seen them for sale in the classified forum as Jeffersonian hybrids. There was a great web site about them but I do not have the url. | ||
