They might not RUN on their hind legs, but I had a male ornate which WOULD stand up for food. He wasn't technically standing on his own two feet, he sort of propped himself up with his hind legs underneath him, kind of like a two-legged picture frame (best analogy I can come up with right now).
Leopard lizards do the "pose" as well (crotaphytine, so I guess it runs in the family). ----- Chris McMartin
