why not both..lol. i started with a king and just got a w hognose about a month ago. the king was actually more difficult to feed than the hog, but it wasn't that hard to fix. in reality, i don't feel there is that much difference in keeping them, other than the feeding. the hognose stay smaller, so that is one consideration. i'm not sure on breeding as i have never done it but everything i've read seemed about the same for both. i guess it depends on your size considerations and which pattern you like better.
