How big was the mouse compared to the snake? It sounds like it was way too big. Either that or your snake has a health issue that needs to be addressed. The yawning is him trying to realign his jaw, he'll get it. If his condition seems to worsen, take him to a qualified Vet. Other than that, I don't really know what to tell you.
