You are absolutely right! Catching and punishing these theives should be second, only to the safe recovery of the animals stolen. If they are allowed to get away with it, it will only make them bolder and add make it more appealing to those who might be interested in theft.



On a side note, I take pictures of all my animals. This is important if they are stolen, but more importantly, I can identify who is who. That way I don't mix up my hets
