The t-rex supplement is actually a complete food that you dust onto the crix or whatever insect you use. It has high quality sources of Macro nutrients(protien, carbs, fats) and micro nutrients(vitamins, minerals). It also contains probiotics which are benefical bacterium that aid digestion, plus plant extracts that may enhance colors. I feed mealworms only, so what I do is keep an 1/8" layer on the bottom of the feed dish at all times. I replace it about every 1-2 weeks, because as Rick said vitamins degrade with exposure to air and heat, and light. This is the ONLY supp. I use for my bredders and growing leos. I do not have a calcium dish, just the t-rex leo supp. To answer your other question, Phosphorus is not bad for leos...in fact they need it. The thing is insects already contain plenty, this is why it is recommended to use a phosphorus free supp. It is generally accepted that retiles need a calciumhosphorus ratio of 2:1. The t-rex supp. has been formulated to contain enough calcium that when dusted onto insect it will come very close to that ratio.
