Posted by: gorgon1953 at Tue Feb 3 13:13:58 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by gorgon1953 ] I have a small armadillo lizard which finally lost a large piece of the end of it's snout (1 1/2mm between end of snout and nostrils which included small bone structure at snout tip). I got this lizard a few days ago and noticed a small scab when I picked the lizard up...typical cage nose, but today the scab came off with the entire snout structure and my question is does anyone know if this will threaten the life of the lizard and what care can be given. The Animal is now off food and water but in a large and well heated enclosure which it ambulates around without apparent problem. [ Hide Replies ]
