Need Info on Panther Cage

I just purchased a 260 gallon mesh reptarium from LLL Reptile...ye gods...I didn't realize how big it actually was until I assembled it. Anyhoo, I need some sort of impermeable floor for it - any suggestions? Also, it is made of soft mesh, not hardware cloth, will the heat from the basking lamp damage it? I plan on raising the lamp a bit so it will not sit directly on the mesh and burn the cham but how high from the mesh should it be?



The panther will not be purchased until I get back home sometime in March but I do want to get everything ready for it ahead of time. I went to Kammerflage to peruse their chams and saw so many beauties my head is spinning...how the heck do I choose? My head hurts.
