I too would NOT recommend pouring water in the substrate. Although you might want it humid you don't want the substrate wet, this can lead to a lot of problems like scale rot etc.
Also as mentioned in the previous post, corns don't need that high of humidity as ball pythons and atb's etc.
To answer your question, I put Glad Cling Wrap over about half the cage, this seems to help out a lot.
