currently in ga you can collect only native venomous without a permit such as an eastern diamond back rattlesnake. to possess any non venomous native snakes u need a permit that cost $50 a year and you must only use them for educational purposes

i asked the dnr if i could breed cornsnakes for educational purposes like colleges and zoos and he said that would be illegal you must get 12 hours in each year and document it.

personally i want corns to be legalized in ga and i would like see people in the hobby being able to breed them here.
