As a snake lover I can certainly understand wanting to have a corn snake or any other species. However, conservation of existing populations is paramount to ownership. It seems the law you are trying to change could potentially cause a serious problem for the local population of both venemous species and non-venemous species. I hope that you are able to change the law such that you can purchase a CB snake from a reputable dealer.



I will not be signing the petition until it is revised and I hope other readers of this board agree with me. I do respect your efforts to change the law regulating possession of snakes and I hope in the future you can have a collection of CB snakes.
