The iron on stuff is about all I can find anymore, even at the specialty shops I frequent.



Unfortunately, the iron on products don't stick as well as I'd like to the particle board interior of melamine.



I much prefer to buy the 3/4" strips of beveled pine and use glue and small finishing nails to cover the exposed edges.



Only slightly more expensive and actually easier to apply. Well actually the application of the iron on product is easy too, but trimming the excess is a pain, even with the appropriate tool (which I have).



The 3/4" pine I'm referring too fits fine with no trimming.



Coat with some stain and water based polyurethane and it looks great.
