Posted by: veronicag at Thu Feb 5 10:23:19 2004 [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by veronicag ] I'm not sure what the cause is but one thing is for sure, vomiting that often will bring up digestive juices which can irritate the throat and mouth, it is important to give his upper gastrointestinal tract a rest for several days before trying to feed him again. You should give fluids orally which will help wash the gastric fluids back down and help rehydrate him. Vomiting is just as dangerous as severe diarrhea, it will cause dehydration, which will cause the beardie to go downhill rather quickly. Keeping him hydrated is of upmost importance until the cause of his vomiting is discovered. | ||
