One other thing, IF you do decide on a uro, buy from a reputable breeder who has captive bred uros or VERY long term wild caughts (more than a year) in my opinion. I have been conducting a small personal survey on uro mortality and the strongest common link is they were ALL wild caught even though some were represented as cb, but the owners of these uros leaned towards wc. Stay away from reptile shows and NEVER feel sorry for the lone, skinny uro in the pet shop. In most cases (NOT ALL) it will be a lone, skinny corpse in no time. A lot of research and the willingness to pay for something decent can go a long way towards keeping you from unbelievable heartache. I know some will disagree and have the ending to the story, but percentage wise the tale is turns out badly. Best of luck to you in whatever you decide. For those of us who are fortunate enough to have happy, fat, healthy uros we can only hope you will find the same.
