Sorry, I realize this doesn't have to do with newts, but there doesn't seem to be a misc. water crabs forum, so I was hoping someone here might have an idea.
I clean my crab bowl ever three or four days. Today, when I went to clean it out, there was this scummy, gelatinous substance over the surface of the water - it looked sort of like egg whites. My crab itself was also covered in the stuff, especially on the ends of his legs. It definately seems like some sort of frightening fungal infection, but I have no idea what it is or how to treat it. Any ideas?
Thanks!
