I am soooooo sorry to hear about your loss. It is amazing how much we fall in love with beardies. People just don't understand what wonderful personalities these guys have. Even in comparison with other reptiles. I have a "geriatric" pair right now that have allready lived a year past what the vets expected. They were my first bearded dragons ever. I now have 9. I know they have had a good long life and it is time for them to go, but I know I will be so very sad when they do. It sounds like Lyle was extremely lucky to have you as parents. Somehow, they know when you have saved them and appreciate you for it. You all will be in my thoughts.
