bred from the larger P. vitticeps (there are actually two different groups in the wild, one larger than their neighbors)by the germans who paid more attention to breeding lines and non related dragons that we did in the US.



There are bigger boned and seem to be much heartier than the standard or common dragons, they have larger head that the regulars also.



I have several and they range in size from 500 grams to 1000 grams, 21- 24+ inches, so far from what we see, the babies grow more rapid the first several months then slow down around 6-7 months and continue to grow through their 2nd birthday. compared to our regulars they have less eating fussiness and rarely have had parasite problems. Personally I think they are a bit more intelligent than our regulars also.
