I just received a female, 8 month old Beardie from a friend about a week ago. Since then, it has been eating well (mainly crickets, mealworms, and veggies), pooping daily, and is very active. I have a basking area around 110 degrees and I spray her with water several times a day with standing water available that is changed daily. I looked at her this morning and she had a very 'white' appearance, which I can only assume is an indication of an upcoming shed, but I'm not sure because she is still very active. I came in to change her water and attempt feeding her when I noticed a pile of approximately 3 to 4 mealworms that she had thrown up. Is this normal due to a pre-shed period or maybe I handled her too quick after a feeding? I did an awful lot of research before I agreed to take the little gal from my friend, and the last thing I want to do is something wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
