I had the same thing happen to my female California Kingsnake, 'Pepper'. Unfortunately the tumors interfered with her severely, she stopped eating and while the forward half of her body thinned down, her back half grew in size. I thought at first that she was gravid, but my vet did x-rays and confirmed the worst. I ended up having her put to sleep because I just couldn't bear to watch her waste away. We spent almost 15 years together, and it was one of the most painful experiences in my life. I will never forget her.
