you can find them any place that have woods and a few logs on the ground. look for log thats been there for awhile and doesnt have alot of leaves under it. flip it over and be ready some times you haft to be quick. in a hafe in hour you should be able to collect over 50. i always let them go but i have kept 2 or 3 in a 5 gal. i put ants and other small insects and watered them down every day and they lived all spring all summer and then i put them back.
