I also use the Powersun UV, 160 watt. Most of my cages are glass, but I also have one wood cage. The 100 did not get the basking spot hot enough, so I only use the 160. Most of my cages are 4' long. I have, however, had two bulbs fail on me after very short usage. I did return them to Zoomed and they replaced them. I also tried the T-Rex active UV heat bulb and both bulbs I bought loosened from the metal socket and quit working only about 6-8 weeks after I got them. My cages are such that I do not have to move the bulbs at all, so in my opinion the bulbs were defective, so I would not buy the T-Rex again. Hope this helps.
