Eye Caps and First Bath

My baby ball just finished shedding, and she shed great. But there are still eye caps. I know that I have to get the caps off, but I'm terrified of hurting her. Can someone tell me the best way to give her a bath, and the easiest way of getting off the caps? [And maybe some words of encouragement? I'm very nervous]
