MHDs have keeled scales that can make for a rough shed. I don't normally do much for it unless trouble signs appear, like closed eyes, weight loss, etc. Some simple tihngs you can do that help: add pedialyte to misting and drinking water, and up the humidity. There is also something similar to pedialyte, only it's specifically for reptiles, called Bio Mist that you can get at Petsmart, and you use it to mist, and it puts out a lot of electrolytes. I've also seen shed supplements at reptile stores that you can put on the food, but if she isn't eating much in the first place, I suppose the effort is kind of lost. I wouldn't pull any skin off, and if you notice skin making the eyes stick shut, the vet can take care of it, or a lot of the time, pet stores have someone who is really expierienced and can do that sort of thing. I usually provode some rougher tree bark for the animal to rub on to help flake off the little bits, also.
