Most likely they are Taricha granulosa, rough-skinned newts:

They could also be (less likely) T. torosa, California newts:

If they are T. granulosa, they are mostly aquatic, as you see in the store. If so, you'd need a mostly aquatic setup.
People do breed them, especially in Europe. The best place to find such people is at the other forum:
