I was thinking about this set-up because I thought is was a really cool and relativly inexpensive idea...there's enough room to split the dresser and make two habitats. However, I wonder about the wood holding up over time. It's hard to clean and there's always the possiblity of it rotting. Also, I think that it might harbor bacteria and other yuckies. Did you use a finish to try and prevent that? Just wondering ;o)
