ATB having a horrible shep any sugestions

ok my male if having an absolute horrible shed and i dont knwo what else to do, i have soaked him for hours the humidity never drops below 50 but usually stays around 70. His temps were a tad to low for a while due to me being misinformed but i have since corrected it. Are there any other ways to aid in shedding besides jsut soaking him? oh and he is around 4 feet and not a happy camper most of the time so picking the shed off by hand would bring me great pain.
