And that, anyway, the smell of baked wood will dissipate a lot faster than the smell of, say, roast chicken which permeates the house for days afterwards. Consider what sort of insect life may be overwintering in the wood, just waiting for Spring (or your nice warm house) to kick start it back to life. Baking really is the best way to deal with that bark. | ||
