I actaully took 2 6ft visions cut holes in one side of each and bolted them together to make one 12ft cage for my anacondas(which are as nasty as they come). The glass is thick so you dont have to worry about the snake breaking it, the snake will not be able to lift the glass out of the runners either. The only thing I recommend to put your wifes ind at ease is to buy a lock for it. Just in caes u forget to close the sliding doors all the way. That is the only way the snake will be able to get out. Hope this helps.
