Not an artist so i don't know much about paint. IF something hard like a piece of glass was pressed up against the painting would that make the colors/painting look bad, because you could put a piece of glass over it so your herpp can't get it.
I think there would be a market for hand painted backgrounds, or even just paintings of a natural herp habitat. Best of luck, post any pics if you decide to do it. ----- 0.1 Albino Leopard gecko (Lex)
