Remember that your substrate is going to insulate the UTH and you can't have the UTH running too hot or you risk burning the snake. Besides, a bulb provides your snake with a day/night cycle and day/night temp fluctuations... at least simulating Mother Nature a bit. [ Hide Replies ]
