question on heating up my snake's bins...

i currently have my snakes in 'Sterilite' plastic storage bins. now what can i use to maintain the temps up that won't damage the plastic bins? at the moment i can not afford an sctual snake rack so i am working with what i have. any comments or ideas will greatly be appreciated.
