Another option is slightly modifying your tank and using a lamp. Leaving a border of an inch or two, cut out the plastic lid of your sterilite, and either tape/glue/otherwise fasten some heavy screen in its place. That way you have a place to sit your lamp without melting the lid, sufficient airflow, and still a sufficient area of plastic lid to easily keep the humidity at the proper level.
