Cham Cages, Abraded Lips

Does anyone know if there are cham cages made with SOFT mesh rather than the hard stuff? My eternally, angry veiled has a habit of charging me and battering the tip of his lips against the hard mesh. The tip of his snout is raw! I put him into the 260 gallon reptarium with the soft mesh, he no longer comes running and hissing...in fact he looks lost, embarrassed and unhappy and his colors are a bit dingy. He has been in there for the past three days but I have no other recourse. Ichabob has plants and biovine aplenty and there is a soft tray on the bottom of the cage. I am not crazy about this reptarium. It always looks dark. Can someone tell me where to get a regular cham cage with SOFT mesh instead of constructing one myself
