Hi Krystal,



If you're building one rack that holds several different types of tubs getting it setup to your liking can be very difficult.



One of the biggest concerns is one that I cannot answer for you unless I see the boxes personally and know what species will be housed in them.



The concern is whether or not the boxes are rigid enough to allow width-wise insertion. This concern will be most important with the larger boxes. With many larger boxes the middles are just too flexible to allow width-wise insertion and still have a resonable amount of security. When they are inserted length-wise the walls provide the necessary support to keep the sides supported.



The walls of the rack DO NOT need to touch the boxes. However, I try to limit the gap so that if a snake were squeezing its way out the flex of the wall would then come in contact with the rack wall and prevent it from flexing any further.



So if you can provide some additional information on this I'd be glad to try and help.



Lastly, what is the large, 52" box you listed first? Brand, model number, etc.? I'm always looking for larger boxes to use as quarantine for my Gonyosoma oxycephala.

I want to build a rack system (may need to make more than one)and I have the tubs I want picked out, but I am flipping on what way to organize it, longer, deeper, ect... Also I am open to using similar sized tubs if you can find them cheaper,and also willing to make this into more than one rack if need be IF YOU CAN FIND THEM CHEAPER, LET ME KNOW PLEASE!
