I have been dangling worms before my tiger and he eats em up. However, now when ever i stick my hand in the tank to do something, he tries to eat it. He tends to latch on somewhere and i sort of gently flick him off...
If i were to just drop the worms into his tank, would he be able to dig them up if they burrow? In the wild, do they hunt worms from the soil, or do they only eat ones that surface?
Occasionally i feed him live crickets, and he doesnt really seem to hunt them down. he sort of sits and waits for them to come to him... Sometimes he eats dead crickets, he sort of snifs them then eats them -is this normal? I think i feed him plenty, though he is always willing to take more, including my hand, nuckles, fingers...
