a very afective way i have found that only cost about $3.00 and is totally 100% safe is:



1- buy a can of store brand lice spray for funiture(equate is the brand i buy) if you look at the ingr. on the can and compare to any mite spray they are the same!!!!

2- take a pillow case or big breathable cloth bag and spray the inside real well

3- wait till the cloth is dry to the touch, complety dry, then place your snake into the bag tie the top so not to escape.

4- then spray the entire cage with a light dusting, that means everything in the cage except the water dish take that out!!!

5- wash the water dish in very hot water with anti-bacterial dish soap.

6- wait till the cage doesnt smell strong of the spray and is dry to the touch.

7- then place the snake back in the cage and wait

8- if you want to you can repeat steps 2 and 3 one more time for good measure!!!



THIS REALLY DOES WORK I DID IT AND I WAS OVER RUN BY MITES SO BAD THAT MY ALBINO LOOKED LIKE HE WAS SPECKLED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



the lice spray will kill any mites that are living or in eggs or that are still to be laid out as eggs for up to three weeks. my friend showed me this trick when i bought a burm from a pet store and didnt notice tha it was over populated with them. the bad part was i put it in with my other 2 burms and they got them. the only way i noticed them was on my albino. but i did this and in three weeks they were all gone and i havent had them since.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR SNAKES AND IF YOU DO THIS YOU WILL SEE THAT IT WORKS DAMN GOOD. ALSO PASS THIS INFO ON TO ANYONE YOU KNOW BECAUSE ITS THE BEST WAY I HAVE FOUND!!
