My son just finished his new cage. He found the plans, I think, here and used furniture finished plywood. It was $25 a sheet but saved a lot of sanding. Inside dimensions are 6 x 2 x 2. He bought 1/4 inch aluminum c channel at Lowes and 1/4 inch plexiglass for the front doors at Home Depot. The snake goes in this weekend, just finished the water bowl area.
