To me, that is an outstanding example of a hypermel! Thank you for sharing!



What are your thoughts on the genetics behind the trait? If I remeber correctly it seems that not all "hypermelanistic appearing" animals produce hypermels (either directly or thru line breeding) but I am certainly not "in the know". I would love to see a "line" of these animals producing offspring as dark as the one in your picture!
