Vomiting is also a telltale sign that something is very wrong, not necessarily with the digestive tract. Our female ig had pneumonia and the first symptom was vomiting. She turned out okay because we caught it early. With another ig, it ended up being a "crash and burn" scenario; the ig was seemingly fine, then vomited, and the next day, the ig was dead.
The basic jist here is whenever an iguana -- or any lizard -- vomits, it is to be taken very seriously and a vet's intervention is required, because it could really mean anything.
Since it is now Monday, you must have taken yours to the vet by now. How is she doing? I hope she will pull through. Please keep us updated!
