The best way to avoid confusion is to use the Latin name for mealworms...the genus is Tenebrio. The other worm that is often used is Zoophobas. These are larger, but look quite similar. You should not use mealworms as the main staple food as they contain too much chitin, are fatty, and are a bit harder to gutload properly.
