Jamie - I like that! I use the cartridge refills, too so I have a needle. Even after you file it down is it safe for the cham? You could probably devise a little wax or plastic cover for it.

So what new cham are you getting? How many do you have now?

BTW, where in UK do you live - just curious...I love it over there

>>hey, im getting a small cham too soon, while its small i though id make her a drip system. I found out it made tiny droplets for her tiny mouth ...

>>

>>hehe, this is how i made it

>>

>>1 plastic cup

>>1 seringe with needle

>>1 small peice of cotton wool.

>>

>>get a cup and poke a Tiny hole in the bottom. Take the head off the seringe (i used the type that comes with a 'top up' ink cartarage). File the head of the needle so it isnt pointy. Black up the hole leading into the needle part with a small peice of cotton wool (to stop water coming out really fast under pressure). Poke the seringe 'filed' needle through the hole you made in the cup. fill with water . you get small droplets that relewase every 3-5 seconds

>>hehe thought id share my chameleon 'invenstion', lol.

>>>>...I wasn't seeing my chams drink and when I spritzed the plants it would usually evaportate before they ever got to it...SO I decided I wanted to control it more and give it to them more directly. I have a 20cc syringe that I had used to give one of my cats' medicine (the opening is about the size of an "o" on this page - no needle attached). I fill it with water (spring water, for anyone who is worrying about it and allow droplets to fall right near where the cham is sitting. Bart, my littlest guy, always seems to be the thirstiest so I go for him first. The girls don't drink right away but it stays in "puddles" on the foliage longer. Now, granted, this is rather labor intensive, but they are housed in my office (work from home) so it is easy to do. I also get less unwanted spillage onto substrate.

>>>>I doubt I would do it if I had lots of them and/or bigger species, but for these little leafs it works great!
