I personally wouldn't pay for a large burm when I personally know there are plenty of them in rescues that are either free or available for a $35-$50 donation to the organization. My 13' female didn't cost me anything other than materials to build her a new and stronger cage before I moved her in. My best friend originally got her two years ago when she was 11' long. My other half and I drove to North Carolina with my friend back then to pick the snake and her cage up - both for free...the only cost was gasoline to go get her. I've seen the large burms (10 feet plus) for sale in local papers for anywhere from $100-$400, with and without cages. I guess it basically comes down to what you're willing to pay. [ Hide Replies ]
