are going to stop people from keeping these animals anyway.And what about the huge underground trade that will develop(which already exists in pockets).Thats one of the biggest problems/gripes i have is that the state can make a law to "tell you" what you can and cant keep on your property you pay taxes for and in your own house.Are the api,humane society and cdc wackos going to come around to every house wearing jack boots and arrest everyone and euthanize their animals?Im sure they would like to.Its like a friend said to me once-its the yin and the yang,one mans interest is fought against by another man who is on a crusade to end it.Its ashame in the many years people have been keeping exotics(whatever kind you choose to keep)that an organization hasnt been formed for pro-animal ownership to achieve the same thing that the NRA has done for firearm ownership.After writing letters to my health department,about our state laws concerning turtles for instance,i was told that if they and the cdc had there way,they would ban all reptiles as pets,but that under the current administration,it wasnt possible.Im afraid now the"monkeypox"issue has given them further ammo to extend their agendas,which is a total ban.And all the media is doing is repeating verbatim the lies that these people are telling them.I guess im just venting today after reading the cnn article about exotic animals.
