You want to buy a STUBBY 2 or II. It will cost anywhere from 59.99 to 89.99. I paid on the upper end for mine. Another 10 bucks for shipping. It has been great so far. You will need a 12 volt sealed lead acid battery. You can buy or purchase them many places. If you buy them online, they are cheap but shipping gets you. You can purchase them at hobby stores, and FRY's electronics if you have one near you. When choosing the battery, the more AMPS or AMP hours you get on your battery the longer it will last, and the heavier the battery will be.



Example, I just purchased a 12 volt 1.1 AH battery for road cruising with my stubby. It is light and gets the job done. Last about an hour. I also have 3 larger 7 AH 12 volt batteries for walking cuts in the summer time. Last all you have to make is a charger, and get everything hooked up properly. I don't have any screen shots of it, but maybe someone on here has a how to page for making them. If not, I will be out in West texas most likely around May 15 to 22nd or so. I would be happy to show you the setup. Some places also offer a snake hunter kit, with a setup and charger but they are more expensive than making your own.
