That is a really sad story! I cant believe the ignorance that person showed by allowing these animals to suffer that long prior to finding a solution! They made a mistake by breeding without the proper know how, but they are human and mistakes happen. The thing that bugs me is they waited that long to find a solution. IM just glad there are people and organizations like you guys out there to care for these unwanted and sometimes neglected animals.
On another note, I am going to be adopting a bearded dragon tomorrow from mid Michigan reptile rescue tomorrow and I couldn't be more excited. You guys provide a wonderful service for these animals and I just wish there were more people out there that would look into adoption rather then running out to a pet store. There are many wonderful, fun, loving animals to be found in adoption that can provide more enjoyment then any purchased animal!!! I cant wait to pick up sissy! Ive been excited since I found out I was to adopt her. I hope to hear more about this story.
Thanks
