I think they are a bit shallow....I would go with a 9-10 inch height....I use rubbermaid bins as well....mine are 59 qt....22 x 15 x 9.....



I put them in group of 10-12 to start....by 2 weeks, groups of 8.....by 4 weeks, groups of 4-5....



Simple is better with tubs....basking rock and food dish....I use paper towels, but I'm sure butcher paper would work well, though I've not tried it....
