Were you trying to breed her? This means she does NOT want to be bred. There is a possibility that it could be a male also (unless of course she has had clutches of eggs before). When she does this she is pretty much NOT wanting to be bothered by the male. If you are not planning on breeding them do NOT get them out together, it stresses the female out a LOT!
