i thought i had two female beardies. one i've had for over a year. the other i bought from a pet store about 6 weeks ago. the one from the pet store is an adult whose owner couldn't "handle" her anymore because he got a new dog....yeah, yeah....



anyway, today we finally put them together and they seemed to be doing okay. but about 30 minutes ago new beardie jumped on old beardie and grabbed the back of her neck. when we got to them they were definately tangled up in the breeding position. they came apart and both had their sexual organs protruding!!!



they both definately look like girls. one bulge, no femoral pores, etc... although, chloe has a very very dark beard, which i've heard females can have. i don't know what to think now. will females simulate mating especially if they've never been around another male before or does it sound like chloe might be a henry? LOL
